Option for Thursday night and other activities

For those arriving Thursday evening, Mary says there is going to be an terrific concert by the Internationally known A Capella Rock group FACE. It is at the Hammond Amphitheater, North Lake Park.(not too far from LaQuinta), at 7pm and attendance is free. The venue is near Lake Loveland and North Lake Park. The Lions Club Train may be running in the park at that time, too.  There is no formal seating, just chairs or blankets that people bring.

Other options when you have the time:
Fort Collins has a "Discovery Center Museum" that is pretty nice if you didn't want to travel down to Denver to the Museum of Nature & Science. It's much smaller but pretty interactive. If you do go to Denver Museum, the Mastodon Bronze sculpture outside the museum to the right was made in Loveland. The casting, forging, etc. was at one of our Bronze Foundries! A cool connection to Loveland.
